Congrats on joining the cool club!

Are you planning on keeping all the 5-speed hardware, or eventually upgrading it all? I'd be interested in buying it, if you end up parting with that stuff.

Again, congrats on the purchase Jon, I'm sure you'll enjoy it!

3800 swaps (L67 primarily) are commonly done with these cars.

Thanks. Right now the plan is to keep the Getrag, but if I upgrade to something else I'll let you have first poke at this trans.

Do we have to go through this again?

Glad to see you are at least the current owner of a 60 degree at least

The 3500 weighs 340lbs, did I mention that?

It's either going to be a 4.2 L36, or a L67 without stroker. Not a mix of the two.

L67..its proven its reliability many times over and the swap parts are readily available.
more than enough pwr for that little slot car.

EDIT: and fwiw, there is a local that runs at the 1/8mi track quite often..unclear on total mods but it runs mid 7's all day long

thats the best looking fiero they built.

I have to vote 3800. I have had a few 3800 cars and i've had two 60 degree cars. I had a 85 6000 ste a while back and i currently have a beretta z26. I haven't posted about it mainly do to lack of time. Anyway the 60 degree motor is such a pain in the dick to work on compared to a 3800. Plus the 3800 is tried and proven to stupid amounts of power.

I just wish the 3800's heads were as good as the late 60 degree heads are. By the way 60 degree transverse tstat housings suck the big dick.
