or do v6 mustangs lack a good sound to them? the 1's ive heard sound horrid...

thats no joke...maybe the v8 mustangs sound better then gm's v8's and gm's v6's sound better then v6 mustangs? lol

the fact that mustangs got true duals from the factory (even though they had dual cats and dual mufflers) and firing order contribute to the nice exhaust note.

the v8's u mean right? cuz them v6's dont sound good at all at least the 1's ive heard recently, some women with a brand new v6 has dual glassbacks on it and it sounded aweful...sounded like a bumble bee

I don't agree Ford's V8's sound better than GM's... Ford's sound good, but not BETTER

I have a buddy who has a V6 stang with a 3.8. He has true duels on there with flowmasters on there and it sounds horrible IMO. Worst than my car.

airattack111 that mustang has long tubes....as far as i know they dotn make long tubes for our 3.8's and yeah it sounds great at idle...but oh that godforsaken rasp above 4000 rpm

It doesn't sound that great.... The GM 3.8 sounds better IMHO.

i think both ford and GM v6 enignes sound horrible. GM a little bit more. but man those 4.6 liter engines have one of the best exhaust notes  |
