    My first autocross - Video

IT WAS AWESOME!!!! here is a video of my fifth and last run yesterday with the SCCA Fresno chapter. Right towards the very end I get really sideways and over correct and get sideways the opposite direction but then i evened out and punch it down to finish, the commentator dude obviously knew what was going on as he describes my very moves haha... AWESOME experience.. i got the my best time 107.773 on that lap and obviously i could have got a little better without losing control.. anyways it was great.. the best time was a 48second but that was a gocart, most of the subies were getting around 1 minute. so i felt like i did pretty well for a first time. enjoy! sorry about the bad zoom and quality

is there a bee buzzing around the camera while you are racing?

but seriously looks like a blast. My car is set up pretty nicely for autocross wiht all the suspension stuff i have done but im afraid of the car falling apart after a few runs.

How did your automatic like the autocross?

i left it in second gear, even on the straightaways i ddint get that close to redline haha... and yes my car has basically only suspension mods so it was nice actually getting to use them for a change... it was a blast.. i really dont think your car would fall apart though lol, i think that the most stress is put on the tires and brakes..

If you have HPTuners you can set up an "autocross" mode for your transmission so that it will only up shift if you are close to redline.
