torque converter selection

This is my first post so please bear with me.
Im mating a 4.3 (circa1985,86) with a 700R4.
both are bone stock. Its going in a lightweight Nash Metropolitan.
rear end gearing wil be 3.25 or 3.00 depending on tire height.
I need a converter selection or part #. It will be lockup in 4th only 30spline input on the 700R4
My daughter will be driving this car so Mild shifting is what I am looking for
I also want to be sure the engine and trans combo are compatible with the setup
