Hello, hello (echo). Yeah pretty much a ghost town here now. Not only are theses old v6 forums closing down they also closed my local drag strip (Englishtown raceway park,NJ) this year. I still have my camaro, just upgraded to a performabuilt level 2 trans and looking to upgrade the turbo this year but still enjoying working on the car.

I can't believe to many people use Facebook for forum type discussions these days. Weird. I haven't been on it for about 6 years so I guess that explains why I'm still here. Lol.

Facebook sucks for that kind of thing. I rarely use it for that. I still browse 'tech from time to time, and am on a GMT forum for the truck.

    Facebook is bad, in general.
Also, so are Volkswagen products made in the past 18 years. Just thought I would toss that out there.

    Heyyyyy dude!

Sucks about the wife. How's the ol' Corps these days? Virtually everyone I was in with is out now. The '06 Company had an old man birthday ball of sorts at some ranch in the mountains in like 2017, I didn't go.

I'll do my update like yours:

-Still a civilian, don't miss anything.
-Sue and I are still living in Colorado. She discovered girls ~2012, now has a cuuuuuute girlfriend named Lacey.
-Sold my Camaro to make room for forging and casting stuff in the garage. Don't miss it. Overall I don't really care about cars anymore, and only work on them when I need to. The guy who has the car now is one I deployed with, and I think he intended on it being a bit of a road course car. I haven't spoken to him specifically about it in a while, but we're still in touch.
-The family farm transitioned from pigs to Icelandic Sheep, and I added some ducks to the mix as well. A developer is buying up the whole area, so in ~10 months we're getting a FAT paycheck and are going to move about 30 minutes east onto a larger piece of land with a little pond on it. I'm designing an aquaponics system that'll be built once we're there.
-I shilled for big Thorium a couple years ago. I'm still balls deep in renewables, though now I know some guys who know some other guys in the nuclear world as well. I'm still working on leaving this kind of crap altogether and should be able to this year.

    howdy gang,

in Cali because the wife landed her dream job here so we had to pack up and head west.
    UGH!

    anywho,
    still have the 'maro,
    cant drive it here,
got pinched by the CHP a couple of times just cruising along the highway reminiscing the old days...with Tx plates.
cant register it here unless it goes back to completely stock.
the last time they made it clear "if we see this car on the road again we will impound it and have it crushed", BOOOO!

so she sits in the garage. its just sad.
i do miss all of the chatter we used to go thru.
    hope everybody is doing well.
