It's been a little while since I've logged into FTV6...much, much longer since I've posted.

As it turns out, all I needed was to lose my job to get my butt back to the forums!

Not that I expect a huge post count in this thread since as near as I can tell, the Canadian FTV6 population is about as thriving as it ever has been...

Jobs? Leads? Ontario first, but I'm open to East Coast and West Coast if need be. Anyone hear anything lately?

Background is service tech, customer service, and wholesale tire distribution, although I'm making as much pocket change as I can right now doing freelance writing/editing online.

If any Canadian peeps hear of any big news in the job market, hit up this thread! I've applied to dozens of places and have barely gotten any responses.

Ya go to Alberta. You're garunteed to make good money in an oil camp but the hours will suck and you will have no life. A few people I know go out there for a few months/year.

I don't have much of a life now...

I was kind of hoping to avoid the hard labour of the oil fields. I mean, I'm capable but I also have that brain thingie in my skull that should be able to get me in a position where I don't have to kill myself physically.

Ehhh...I suppose I should look into it more. Regardless of how intense it might be, the rumors are that they pay extremely well.

All I'd have to do is pick up and move my ass to Alberta I guess. That's just insane. You'd be lucky to make half that working a parts counter in Ontario.
