Much nicer, better, cleaner, and most importantly faster than the old one

I have read about him, was wondering if there has been anybody faster. The fastest time I could find on Tim was 8.99, is that his fastest?

Tim has the record. It can be broken but you will need money and the right parts.

Money and parts are not the problem right now, an open race track to start some testing is. Lol. I just finished my new build.

IIRC Tim's car was far from street able. He had A LOT done to that thing, even structurally to make it achieve those #s

Back halves, 4 links and big tires are not needed to go fast. A good setup chassis and tune is what it takes. There are lots of stock suspension street cars that run low 9's to mid 8's in my area. one just broke the 6 speed record.

Back halves and such sure do help though. Either way you need to upgrade the parts to handle the extra stress and power.

I am not saying that parts don't need to be up graded, factory stock suspension parts would fold up under that kind of power. I am saying full blown race suspension such as 4 links and ladder bars are not required anymore to run 7 and 8 sec passes
