    She will be RED!

Well guys, after a year and then some with the blue Firehawk hood, I took her into the paintbooth and started prepping for paint. I'll post progress pics up every day. Today was the front bumper, which was spider cracked to hell from my accident, then tomorrow hood and everything in primer.

    Going under

These are all from my accident, the spider cracks, and the scuff was a guy hitting me.
I honestly wanted the bumper fixed more than the hood but it's an all in one!

    More pictures to come tomorrow!

Got everything prepped today, a little more sanding to do on the hood and a bit more on the bumper, but looks like everything should get some paint on it tomorrow, and maybe a clear on it. Can't believe it's finally going to be all red haha

I do too man. I think it really makes the car IMO. It goes well with the v6 because it's not as aggressive looking as the WS6 hood haha

Everything has been painted! It has to be wet sanded and buffed tomorrow, then assembled! I'll be driving it home by the end of the day. I'll post pics of the car finished then. For now, here is the rest. I think it looks amazing.

Looks good but why not just repaint the entire car?

Cost most likely and buffing the rest. Sometimes you can get away with a good wet sand and buff

He got it! Well minus the cost part, I just have to pay for paint. Thankfully I work at a family owned machine shop, and the owners are family friends. I'm the first car in the paint booth, so i'm the experiment haha Hoping a good wet sand and buff will line everything else up. The guy who's doing it did the bumper, hood and blended the fenders and headlight covers. The paint is pretty damn close to what's on there now, and there's some orange peel and dust in the clear that a good wet sand and buff will hopefully take out. I'm just excited to get everything back on the car!
