    Rim polish

So i finally got my car running right again. now I'm moving on to the havoc that siting for 6 month did to the appearance. My rims look fairly bad. I was wondering if anyone had any recommendations on a Rim Polish or something i could do to get them a little closer to normal.

The rims in the attachment look painted silver.

I use mothers mag and aluminum polish. If your wheel is bare aluminum with no clear coat over it the polish will turn black on contact. this is a good thing. If you can and want to polish them start wet sanding with 1000ish paper, and move up slowly to 2k or possibly higher. You need to get rid of that water staining and keep it as smooth as glass. Then polish.

It would be much easier to just paint them silver and clear. But possibly cheaper to polish.< these will be more a hassle to keep looking really nice.
