    WTB: Lower intake manifold

    A friend just replaced his lifters, starts the car up for the first time, adding coolant and working out air bubbles and two minutes later all of a sudden his lower intake cracks and hes shit out of luck. Car is a 1998 3.8L. if anyone has a lower intake manifold, please let me know and ill set you two up. thanks alot.

    I think he found one that was 70 somewhere. But is afraid of it being warped or anything. Even tho he is aware returning them isn't a issue, but going through the hassle.... plus I wanted to see if anyone had one on a forum to put some coin in their pocket instead of some random eBay seller.

    Dang, thats $100 just for the lower intake manifold. It is free shipping but seem like a ripoff for just a stock piece. I parted out a 98 camaro 3800 and i want to say that i sold the lower intake manifold, upper intake manifold, and all the bolts for right under $100 including shipping.

    He found one apparently. Haven't heard from him in a few days and he posted last night that he got one and its all hooked up. Thank you very much though. I almost needed one last night.... coolant elbow blew and it was wedged so far into the lim I did know if I was getting it out
