    Thumbs up wheel setup! firebird!

    im planning on getting some xxr 531's on my 2000 firebird

    so far this is the setup

    front: 17x9 bf goodrich g force 255/40/17 35+ offset

    rear: 17x10 bf goodrich g force 275/40/17 20+ offset
    and some 1in wheel adapters ! ;P
    what do yall think?!

    IMO either get 17x9's at all corners with 275's on them, or put some wider tires on the 17x10's in the back. On a 10" wide rim you should be able to go up to a 305 wide tire, and on a 9" wide rim 275's fit well. The SS's, WS6's, and 'Hawks came with 17x9's and 275/40/17 from the factory.

    you have a point, the only reason i chose these tires is because of price! $$$
    i still need to get the car lowered...

    You're really pushing it with a rear offset like that. You'll be lucky if it's still inside the quarter panels. I had 9" wide wheels at a +25 offset and they were basically flush with the quarters. Add another half inch of projection just from the width, plus another 5mm from a narrower offset, and you might just be outside the quarter panels, which would look like crap.
