Pic Request: 18" 19" 20" Torque thrust style wheels in black??

Hey I have a black 99 Firebird. I'm wondering what big 19" or 20" all blacked out torque thrust wheels would look like on an F-body. Anyone have a pic of black torque thrust style wheels on Camaro or Firebird?

I'm thinking 20's would look to big in chrome... but I find black wheels tend to take on a more subtile look, and sometimes they dont look as big as they are. I think they could look really good in black..

like shit. anything over 18 is pushing it on these cars. 19's and 20's are too big IMO.

Yes, I know that its a general rule of thumb to keep it under 17's but with the right stance and black tt2 style 19's I think it might look good. I'm not really going for the muscle car look, more of the resto rod look.

this is kinda close to the look I'm talking about. I think its all in the stance.

The ONLY reason that I went to 18's was to give enough room for larger brakes. (CTS-V calipers and 13 1/2 rotors)
19's are past the limit (with all but maybe the slightest few exceptions) and 20's and up look fucking stupid. (emphasis on "fucking stupid")

    Death to "donk"

Ill be so glad when that style gets buried in the trash where it belongs.

There is a difference there though, the 1970's Camaros and Firebirds could pull them off just due to body design. Our cars just look stupid with that big of wheels.

But hey, if you think you can find the right stance and you think it will look good then go for it. We are just a bunch of dudes on the internet.

Check out the last car on this page, I think it looks great and they are 19's.. but I would rather torque thrust style wheels. On the topic I really think 18" torque thrusts look better than 17's.
Driver_10 did you ever have clearence issues with your car on 18's? like if you have a car load of ppl or take a hard turn?

I've got a set of C5 magnesium rims that are 18 x 9.5 both front and back. My car/suspension has undergone a fair bit of custom "fab-work" to say the least. I wouldn't have trouble with 18's up front, but its a wild card for a car with a stock suspension. Im not sure what to tell you.

About the only 19s I like are ccw, or some mesh type. But 20s never look right.
