    Took the 3500 to the track...

    Ready to go racin'







    A picture of a picture that I bought from the track photographer...

    Car ran a best of 12.3 @ 5 psi. I tried it at 8 psi and it still went 12.3, but was missing and running like crap due to too much fuel. At 5 pounds it ran just awsome though. I added WAY WAY too much fuel over 5 psi (I wanted to be safe), but with the meth and too much fuel, it wouldn't burn it.

    I ran without a hood cause it was flopping around at 100+MPH. Everyone that walked by the car stopped and looked in, car turned alot of heads cause it's not the same old SBC camaro... Can't wait to really unleash the potential of it. Turbo is not even close to it's efficiency at 5 psi... It should hold 15 - 18 with a good tune and meth.

    Hooks hard, no wheelspin at all cause the turbo takes a while to spool.

    That is an awesome number to be throwing down for such a low psi of boost. I take it that these were shakedown runs to get it dialed in better? Do you have access to e85 to help with detonation? We have at least one member that has been using e85 for some time now on his turbo 3.8 with good results. What did you use to record the in car video? Also, I haven't seen you post much on here so I don't remember where you are located at.

    Yeah just getting it dialed in for now. It was my first time out with the car this year on the new motor/turbo/trans. I've run 18 psi clean on the street and it's a monster. haha.

    There are NO E85 pumps here. I'm Northern Ontario Canada. (Sudbury, ON) I'll update my profile there...

    Shame that there are no E85 pumps but at least the air is more dense. Have fun with her and keep us updated.

    This really makes me regret procrastinating the act of recording some vids of my car when I had it running after the first and second build.
    Gonna be quiet again for a little while, so show some patience. It will be worth the wait.

    So I went to Sparta for test and tune, got a bit quicker. 11.92, 12.02, 12.06 @ 8 PSI. Ran a couple of 12.2's at 5 psi.... All around 113-115MPH

    I tried 15 psi and ran 12.0. It's cutting out really bad under higher boost. I think my plugs are fouled. The tune is better now, but still, there's a missfire pretty much anytime over 8-9 psi and it snuffs the spark. It never used to do that... Maybe my ign module is ****ed ? Im not sure. I'll figure it out, then we'll get into the deep 11's

    Likely the plugs...

    11.26 @ 126MPH - 15 psi.

    The car was movin'.

    I went on to win "Street Warz" yesterday which is basically an 11.50 index race ran on a .400 pro tree. Got a trophy, some cash and a 200$ lucas prize pack.

    I brought the boost down to about 11-12 psi through the mufflers was about 11.50 - give or take, maybe I was sandbaggin' a bit.

    Fun times !!



    No doubt it'll go 10's with a bit more boost.
