it runs sort of (2000 GAGT)

ok finally got the engine all together in the GA. go to start it it cranked for ever. finally sputtered and ran... at 1500 RPM it was firing on all 6.

but the car has no power at all. moves about as well as a fat man with asmia. and if you hit the throttle it trys to stall then slowly revs up (this is flooring it)

no codes at all and every thing on the scan tool seems right WTF did i screw up now

    think i figured it out.

it is a stock 60,000 engine from a 05 impala

got it figured out the TB of the 60k engine was carboned up so bad it was bloking the IAC and the upper intake had a crack in one of the runners. swapped out the upper intake for the one off of my old engine and it cleared up but still had a hard time starting and still stumbled a bit.

when i had the intake off i noticed the ETC was unhooked pluged it in and all seems to be fine. i have not actualy driven the car yet just had it idling.

Pressurize the coolant system with the car off and look for leaks. You can rent the tool at your local parts store.

hmm did not think of the part store.

the issue i am running into is the tool we have does not screw on to the de-gas bottle.

    may try the die trick
