The official fabrication and engineering parts website dump.

That's right kids! This is the place to post the links to websites that have the most obscure, hard-to-find, and cheap items for us poor fabricators. If you come across a website that just needs to be shared, post it up.

Note: Non-sponsor websites are welcome, but they will be removed if they conflict directly or indirectly with our current sponsors. If you are not sure, please feel free to contact me.

    Silicone Intakes
Best place that I have found for boost/vacuum lines and super/turbocharger intake piping.

    Ponoko
This is a great place if you have a design for something out of thin metal or acrylic like a gauge or switch holder. Cheap too!

    McMaster Carr
Great if you need some utterly obscure thing. they will have it

    Grainger
    Same as above
    www.graniger.com

    AN Plumbing
A great place to get earls and aeroquip fittings and lines to make your own nitrous/fuel/brake and whatever lines you may need.

These guys have all kinds of junk, I've ordered a lot of stuff from them I can't find in the hardware stores.

A little expensive as well, but add grainger to that list. Both places are expensive, but if you need a bunch of random shit, you will save in shipping from them vs buying from three or four different dealers.

I wouldn't recomend calling the earls store, from personal experience. When i built my eclipse i used Summit to get most of my fittings but earls was the only one who had the ones on hand that Summin and Jegs didn't have in stock. Long story short, the guy that answered the phone was the same guy all four times that i called and was a DICK every time, and it didn't matter what you did or said he never believed you...

To get some of the AN fittings I needed for the turbo I actually would go to helicopter and airplane shops. Typically aircraft use AN fittings on everything, so going to them is a great resource. And usually if they have the part sitting around they will charge you next to nothing for it. I got a 5/8" pipe thread to -10AN fitting for like $2.75 at one of the shops.

I know thats not a specific website, but just an idea for you guys.

jegs and summit are great for the more common fittings. they have all the common stuff in stock and ship out fast. but an plumbing is a good place to deal with and has more obscure stuff in stock too. i have never used the earls store as they seem to be more expensive then everywhere else for fittings.
