Help me with a part name

Put new shocks on the front today, noticed that the piece that the upper A arm bolts to, which the upper strut mount goes through to hold it to the car is rusted pretty bad.

I look up "upper control arm" and only get the arm, not that plate. is that something that someone sells aftermarket, or do I need to start tearing through junkyards to replace it?

Looking for the part on the left.

    thanks!

In the parts manual it's referred to as "front upper control arm support" however it is not assigned a part number, it appears to only be available as included in the "front upper control arm assembly" which also comes with the hinge bolt and nut, bushings, control arm and upper ball joint.

    98-01 - RH (FE2,FE4,F41) - 22156460
    98-00 - LH (FE7) - 22156461
    98-00 - RH (FE7) - 22156462
    02 - LH (FE2,FE4,F41) - 22204672
    02 - RH (FE2,FE4,F41) - 22204673

I believe all V6 cars have F41 suspension? The FE7 appears to be equivalent to the 94-97 1LE part.

Have ya tried getting a quote from GMPartsDirect.com? Some people say that they are high on their shipping costs, but Ive had nothing but good experiences using them. While they are actually a dealer themselves, their prices are usually half of what your local dealer would be. Couldnt hurt to check'em out.

I'm sure in TX you have some F-body's in the junk yard but here in MN, not a single 4th gen ANYWHERE!
