    Hotel/Motel/Jon's Pants

What would you out of town people like to do for lodging? For another out of town cruise that I go on we rent out a motel:

This is a really big picture.

We got permission from the fire department to do burn outs in the parking lot. It was fun. The motel makes a big deal about us coming down every year. I think it would be fun for all of us to stay at a motel together, let them know that it's a big group of people, and hang out all night. Maybe make a weekend out of it. Get there Friday evening/Saturday during the day and find stuff to do. I'm going to get there early because it's a long drive for just 1 day.

What do you guys think about this idea?

Andrew had worked a deal with the Best Western in Sealy. I'll be giving them a call once we have a hard number on who's coming and who isn't and will try to work out something similar. I'll need to know who's going to be needing hotel lodging in order to expect any kind of discount.

I'd be down for reserving a room at whatever hotel you folks pick. My pants aren't big enough for me, so I have to sleep elsewhere.

I am sure we can get a hotel to give us a group rate if we get plenty of people interested and will need a room.

Feel free to take on Lauren and Chad for my couches. It was first come, first serve and I only have so much space.

I'll have to wait until we move in to the new place to really tell you if that would be a good idea or not.
