1999 GTP trans blew... new member

okay what's up i'm new to the site. So the trans on my 1999 grand prix gtp finally took a dump tonight (164k miles). i was wondering what it would take to convert it to manual? and how much is it compared to buying a used one?

There's a complete 6 speed swap on E-bay, or if it's not on there now it will be very soon.

    moved to the proper forum.

While the idea of having a manual trans is cool and what not. In a wrong wheel drive setup if you plan to drag race the car will actually make you slower/less consistant(do to poor 60ft times) and more prone to breakage.

Also the swap is a ton of work for not a whole lot of gain.

I've heard the F40 ratios suck for performance.
