I have a few older british bikes and would love to get my hands on an older harley. I think the big thing is the cost, most new bikes aren't cheap and rapidly lose there value. Older bikes can be picked up cheap and fixed up and injoyed for alot less then a new bike. My first street bike was a 68 triumph, I bought for $1000 when I was 19, I still have it to this day. My dad was big in to Triumphs in his hay day and I guess that got me to look more at them, plus there was no way for me to go buy a new harley at that time. Older bikes are alot easier to work on too, there more like big lawn mowers with 2 wheels then a modern motorcycle.

ah I see. I agree.. if I could own a bike to screw around with as a toy, and something that wasn't crucial if it broke, I'd definitely be looking into a older bike.

well I just got word the paperwork went through, gotta sign a few things and my bike will be built.. So without Further Adieu

Congrats! The black and silver is sweet. It is kind of Fed up that harley charges extra for every color but BLACK, and it is almost imposible to find a black one. Injoy the bike and post pics when you pick it up!

Anyone that's been in GC within the last week knows about my bike (CBR 600 F4), but I'll get a photoshoot done of it fairly quickly

I was looking at a few ZX6R's when i was in the market for a bike...But, I couldn't find one without cracked/scratched fairings, or a clean title Consider yourself lucky to have one that's in good condition

Thats because stunters love used 636's. They tear'em up and/or remove all the fairings and often lose the title knowing it will not be sold as a whole bike once they are finished with it.

Oddly enough, F4's and F4i's are very common stunt bikes too. So consider yourself lucky to have gotten one that isnt stripped and beat to hell.

Definitely post pics once you do a 'shoot

BTW, Im like the vintage bikes that you guys posted!

BlackBird01 I dig the gsxr, what are your plans with it?
