Funny how in chat last night I guessed 135 then 120, looks like I was right both times. LOL

I dont see how anyone drives a stockish 3.4... I cant stand how slow my car is and its a 3.8 with mods.

Although it is cool they can swap with newer v6 top end parts though. Great potential but I sure would like to see it done. All I've heard is talk.

    Hmm, well kiss my grits...

It took 48hrs to put a 1994 Chevy Corsica (3.4/3500 aluminum headed 60 degree) in the low 13's, few tweaks it was in the 12's.

    Want something to laugh at?

Like I said. Great potential since newer v6 top ends will mate up to the 3.4's.
I admit, I would rather mod a 3.4 ( if I had $ and know how) Cause of the fact of better top end parts.

I just wanna see it done to an f-body.

Great starting place. Now we have an exact starting point. Go John!

As far as that 4500 rpm limitation, it's been there since I got the car in 94. It just stops accelerating at 4500 and will slowly go up from there. I presume that is the limit of the iron heads

Yeah but you used 3400 pistons and 3400 heads
This is a high compression, massive cam, 3500 ported top end (3400 UIM), and the biggest thing - OBD1 ECM swap tuned

Ever get yours to a dyno? I know you have been driving yours around for a bit, any problems? We have a few 3rd Gen fbods with the high CR swap, but we have the benefit of the tunable ECM''s.

i see i see, i've never gotten mine dyno'd or to a track (I intended to when I went to bowling green, but the track was closed to the public that weekend)

I never had any problems with it while I was driving it (i'd like to put a data logger on it to see how much timing it pulling ) currently tho most of the car is taken apart (to rebuild the front suspension and fix the front fascia alignment) i've gotten a new cable set up that works better than the truck throttle cables, redoing my egr setup and reworking adodge van thrmostat outlet to work on the 3400, as well as getting a 60 mm throttle body
