    I have an A4 and you are wrong.. either you are remembering wrong, or you have a set of 4.10's or 3.90's in your rear that you don't know about. I had 3.42's before and was about the same as jimmy.

    i run 2200 rpms at 80mph, 3.08 gears, A4...must have read it wrong

    Other than the cam, when I had my camaro, 4.10 gears was the best mod I did to that car. Huge difference, gas mileage did not get worse (actually improved in the city). A friend of mine who used to have a v6 mustang did the same with similar results so anyone who is on the fence about 4.10s, I hope this helps.

    I was on the fence. just fell off onto the 4.10 side. I have a M5 tho. This is my DD good gas milage car. I have a big tuck and a z for the sho off. But if you say you're doin better in the city, I have a few ideas on how thats possible, I think ive decided.

    o I had 3.73 but I got hit and didnt have enough time decide if I was happy with them.
