    4.2 stroker build

I am over in afghanistan and i havin a motor built for me so i can put it in. My question is: Is there a difference between FWD and RWD heads for the 3800?

Depends if you're talking about the L67 heads or the L36 heads. L67 have injector bosses in the heads, where as the L36 (NA) heads don't.

Since you're building what I presume to be a GTP with a stroker, you can't use RWD heads since none of them came with the injector bosses in the heads like the GTP does.

Hope your trans survives the stroker.

That's what a lot of trans shops say, and people always break them. I surely hope that's not going to happen to you, but be forewarned.

In regards to what? The build? There's a lot of suggestions for that.

Hope you have the proper parts replaced on the tranny, our cars dont have the best tranny in the world... thats a lot of power for tranny to only be "beefed up" and not built!

Im the type that likes to be better safe than sorry! I believe there are plenty who have done nothing with that type of power and have no problems... but why take a chance! I'd wait for others on here to give you recommendations on minimal mods. I'm surprised nobody has put in their 2 cents on this yet...
