Awesome Porsche 911... with a Blown LS1 swap
this guy shows up to the weekly carshow here by my house. thought i would share... its an awesome car.. cant see the blower really, but its there... the wing is actually the radiator!! surprisingly, the ls1 weighs less than the original porsche engine... so more power, less weight!
I found the guys website too, has also done a porsche 914 (looks like a miata) swap.... insane. http://toy-jet.com/index.html

It goes up AND down!!!!
Geez. They'll put an LS1 in anything these days. I like the radiator system though. I think his reasoning for installing it is ridiculous though. Why not just mod the original porsche engine or something?
When I see an LSx swap into a ferrarri, I'm gonna lose my mind.

canuck
That looks like the older 70/80's style 911, they're great handling on the track but aren't too quick by today's standards. That thing must really wake it up. That would be my dream hot rod setup as well - a great handling chassis with an ls1 powerplant.

I've seen a lambo with an LSx swap before. All the great characteristics with a reliability and cheap maintenance of an lsx!
