Thread: 95 3.4 camaro a4 tranny... same as all other 4l60e?

    when searching car-part.com for a transmission for a 93 3.4L auto, it also lists 88+ 2.8, 3.1 camaro firebird engines. is this correct or not? danke.

    sorry to bump an old thread but would an 4.3 v8 caprice 4l60 trans be compatible with the 3800?

    1995 will only work correctly in a 95 that was the first yr for the pulse width lockup torque converter the soleniod resistance is diffrent and valve body is diffrent im a transmission rebuilder leared this the hard way thell bolt up but will toast the tranny after a bit
