Talked to an Air Force recruiter

Last Thursday I decided to go talk to the recruiter. I have an idea as to what job I want to do. Since I have been trying to become a police officer on a few occassions I decided to go for Security Forces. I talked to him and everything seems to cool and fun. I take my asvab on Thursday to determine if I can get in to SF. I'll keep ya'll posted on any updates that I have between now and if and when I go to basic.

You'll be fine on the ASVAB. I've worked with some serious mouthbreathing knuckledraggers. Then again, I worked with some folks that made me look like an uneducated 'tard.

Good luck, let us know what happens.

I'm not a PTO or PTL but I think for you to get a 100 points for PT test, 9 mins or less in 1.5 mile, 55 sit ups/55 push ups in 60 sec, < 32 inch of waist.

running is my nemesis. I could run forever at a platoon pace (7:30 or so), but any faster than that, i just couldn't do it. my fastest ever 3 mile run was like 19.58, and i thought i was going to die afterward.
