    one cam, singular.

Yes you can. Make sure you order a cam for a balance shaft motor, wich you have. And you'll need a comp tune after a cam install

    who me?

No, but I now live in a county with no emission tests... so if I had to test now, I'd fail way to quick

I myself like Comp Cams stuff, but you can check out Crane Cams too. I am a newbie here too. I will help you with what info I have. There doesnt seem to be much help here.

I found the page from the comp catolog for you http://compcams.com/technical/Catalo...07/118-121.pdf
I don't think the lack of help is because of the site, I think it is becase of the engine choise. "You want more power from an s10? Put a V8 in!" This is the aditude most people have.
If I was going to build the engine for my s10 again, I probably would start with a 3.8 (231 not the 229) instead of the 4.3

I had the choice of a nice sbc V8 but since the parts and experience
was out there for the turbo 4.3 i went that route.

the 3.8 n/a typically makes power higher in the rpm range
and the 4.3 makes torque in the lower range (260 ft/lbs @3600 rpm)
Hp peaks are around 200 for each.

the 3.8 sc is a great motor... I just liked the idea of variable boost
    and lots of it lol.

I will guarantee you that even with the right setup in the fiero
the thrill will last about a year or 2 and then you want more lol

    Hello All,
I have a 1991 Chevy S10 >>4.3 V6<< I obtained from a wrecked, operating truck. I am having it installed in my 1957 Jeep FC 150 pickup. I removed all ECM and EFI replacing with an Edelbrock 650 CFM carb and mnaifold and a 3/4 Comp Cam with roller lifters and a stand-alone electronic distributor. The exhaust manifold is original due to spacing issues, but, has 2-1/2" flanges which I plan on going simple, single exhaust. I know nothing about these engines except they were one that the adapter company had direct-fit parts for my application. With the above information, can someone estimate the Horsepower generated?? I know my Jeep had 72 HP "new", not hard to exceed. There is no AC or Pwr Steering although I have the devices left on for "idler pulleys" and ease of Serp belt fitment. THANKS!!
