    How can I find out about Autocross Events in my area?

    Might be fun to give it a shot sometime... is there a site that lists events?

    Don't kill yourself. I spun out, luckily stayed on the track. Oh wait, you said autocross, that's for asians with civics. Do some road racing, it's more fun. Watch out for trees on turns.
    It isn't my fault everyone scored before us. You should have gone after that boy scout camp like I told you!! I tried the goddamn boy scout camp. You know how fast those boy scouts move?

    For specific Houston Area: www.houscca.com

    Events several times a year at places like Sam Hoston Raceway Park or Gulf Greyhound Park. The next event is at GGP on Sunday, April 25. There are several classes for competition depending on car, tires, etc. A good friend of mine uses his beat up Camry. Not an SCCA member, just loves the competiton and adrenaline.

    Saw the track on the way to galveston, looked like a parking lot with a bunch of cones.

    probably because it is a parking lot with a bunch of cones if you are talking about the houston one (grayhound track). autocrosse = teh cool
