The gran turismo series is a great driving instructor. It teaches you about the handling limits of FWD/RWD/AWD; how to brake/accelerate out of a turn; how to shift; etc. Granted you never drive to such extremes in real life, but still... the more you understand how cars behave, the better driver you are.

We use racing lines all the time in road racing, i have a 80cc kart, she'll do about 100 TOPS on a good day, and we race at Gulf Greyhound Park parking lot, and its alot of fun, go there on racedays and ask someone to show you what racing lines are, they are nice there, awalys willing to help someone out, but damn the accelration on these karts are unbeliveable, if you get it down right, you can do 0-60 in about 2.3 seconds, i tryed racing them down at Houston Raceway Park, but they wouldnt let me.
