Sweet time at the track (road racing)

New stuff: Fresh Carbotech Panther Plus pads (stock blank rotors and calipers), stainless steel brake lines, Nitto 555 tires

Lots of track time on Firebird East. Killed just about everyone on the more techincal back half, cars I was passing all day included:
    Lotus Elise
    Porsche Carrera 4
Modded John Cooper Works Mini Cooper S
    Modded VW GTI VR6
    Early 2000's Mustang GT

Actually, the only car in my groups that passed me all day was the Z06.. Though the driver of the rented Nissan Altima deserves some props too for pushing the car as well as he did

Got an offer from one of the Sports Racer owners to drive his car for a day if I wanted (I'd have to pay a bit for the privilege though)

Fun ride of the day: Took a spin in the passenger seat of a Radical SR3, a 1100lb race car powered by the 1300cc Hayabusa motor and 6-spd sequential transmission. Former Nürburgring lap record holder (until the SR8 came out). Owners are talking about letting me rent one for a day..

Cool, I wanted to make a road trip to AZ to meet my old roomie and hit up the track for a day there at Firebird. Never did get a chance to, still trying to get money set aside for my return to college lol.
