    actually when I had the FWD buick... never put it in anything but D and worked for me guess I have good brake/ gas and apex reading skills I dunno.

    With the burd.. yea I just put it in first shift If I have the speed/need to and the work it from there
    (but note I don't do this professionally)

    wow..i just noticed this thread..drifting id certainly a rush..i think its even more fun than drag racing..but dont tell anyone i said that......doh!

    anyways..it was a longgggg time before i raced on the track..i spent years racing on the streets first..which i DO NOT recommend..hint..flashing lights..but its nice to see more people starting to get into this..its a ton of fun and it used to be pretty tough to find competitors..i guess all i can say is that i would recommend this to ANYONE who has a safe/controlled place to do this and who really knows how to handle their car
