    I don't recomend lowered suspensions for most street driving , because of bottoming and the related lost of suspension control.

    center of gravity

    You are correct if the pavement is level and smooth, but streets have dips and pot holes that can cause bottoming and at bottom the suppension does not give best control and accentuated in the wet.
