Unfortunately threads can't have 2 polls in them... so here we go again.

I has a 98+ SS spoiler now, currently NBM with crappy paint and going to get it painted in the next week or so. The debate right now is should I paint it white/black again (going to go with thicker stripes than my current spoiler has) or should I have it painted just black? I was surprised when I put it on and took pics and I actually liked it with just black, but my biggest hang up is the stripes on the hood. So Im hoping yall can help sway me one way or the other. A few pics.

Front of car (Im sure everyone has seen it by now)

Ass of the car

And new spoiler.

Like I said, part of me really digs it being like that^, but Im not sure the paint job will flow with the stripes up front. I am NOT going to paint any of the hatch, this is just the spoiler.

I'll take and post pics up tomorrow, I finally accomplished my goal of having a side exit exhaust. The current setup is stock piping into a 2.5 in/out Flowtech glasspack muffler. The cat is a "very" high flow unit. ;) My friend and reused the slip fit and 2.25 tail pipe after the glasspack, from my old rear exit set up. I have not heard a better sounding exhaust on one of these yet, it sounds better than any magnaslow or slowmaster catback, even better than v8's with those catbacks. Yes it is loud, but not as Bad as you'd think, it sounds like a 70s 350 v8 at idle, and doesn't get raspy until 4.5k. Even then think more Srt4 than honda rasp.

I however need an exhaust tip, leave your opinions, dual 3 in tip or a rectangular tip. I'm open to other suggestions too. Overall I have a good 3.5 inches of clearance, It is at a good spot and doesnt scrape at all. As a warning, we had to cut the ends of the glasspack and cut the pipe at the small bendnnear the front of the driveshaft to make this work, and even so we just got the pipe to exit right before the end of the control arm mount.

Seriously i'm about fed up. I get a letter, flyer, paid postage something or another nearly every day asking me to get some type of vehicle coverage on the Acura.

They are all the same.

"Important" "Urgent Reply Needed" I've seriously stopped even looking at them and just toss them all.

I get about 1-3 of these daily. DAILY Is there no stop to this? I've called some of them back and asked to be removed from the mailing lists.. I just don't have enough time in my day to sit down each night when I get home and call each and everyone of these people.

Is there ever an end to it? Not only do I get these, but I also get Capitol One credit card offers which I've called and asked for them to take me off the list 2-3 times now and I get a ton of car/home/life insurance offers. How do I successfully stop it? Is there such a way? I just hate it; it annoys me. I'm not a hippy, I could give a shit less about how many trees have came through my door and into the trash just to go back into the ground, but this shits old!
HELP!!!

Alright, it has been a day and no bites on this. Price is now $100 OBO. I really do stress or best offer, but if you are going to make an offer please make it a decent offer.

I bought this from a seller that should have known this isn't the GoPro that everyone is looking for. They also failed to explain the particular model of GoPro they had and I took it as an assumption it was the bottom line HD model. The camera does provide good filming and with a little editing it can serve its purpose. This is just not the model I want which is why it is up for sale. I don't expect to get back what I paid but would like to have shipping and tracking covered. Hence why I would like $115 for this. At this moment I am only accepting PayPal for payment. Thank you.

The following is included with this package:

- GoPro Digital Hero5
- Standard water-proof case, does have signs of stress cracks
- Arm band with water-proof case, appears to never to have been used
- Bicycle clamp
- Once head strap with mount
- One curved mount with sticky pad, not used
- One wide curved mount with nylon strap to fasten it down
- One tv connection cable
- Two mounting bolts for camera position adjustment
- One 32Mb card(came with it, it will provide for about 50 seconds of film...best to have 4Gb or higher for any length of video)
- One plastic case for all of it to go in

There is some fading on the battery cover which is my fault, it doesn't hinder operation. When I received it, there was a grimey build up on the exterior of the camera. It felt very sticky as though it had never been cleaned. So out came the cotton swabs and alcohol. Shortly after the film had lifted, problem is that this film is what prevented the silver color on the plastic from being rubbed off. So far water and soap has yet to clean any other of the coloring, sadly it wouldn't remove the sticky build up on the camera. I've cleaned most of this off except for the front of the camera. If you wish, I can continue to clean this off or I will leave it as is. I just need to know. I have ran through the features and they all work fine, video is good for the specs that if films at just not what I want nor need for what I want to use it for. It did not come with an owner's manual, but there is an excellent tutorial on Youtube for this camera. The guy offers a cheat sheet on his website, so I will try and get this printed off to include.

I'm sure many of you make purchases online and for the most part probably never have any issues. This is usually attributed to either buying through...

I'm sure many of you make purchases online and for the most part probably never have any issues. This is usually attributed to either buying through trusted sources such as Amazon. Sure Ebay is another area, but the biggest problem with that is you are still dealing with an individual. However, usually most people accurately describe what they are selling on Ebay in an effort to get more hits on their listing. The one area that is tough to deal with is through online forums such as this one. For the most part, people have a pretty good idea of how to handle business and the transactions go well. Yet there are a few instances where deals go bad. Be it the item doesn't work when arrived, it never shows up, or wasn't as described.

This leads in to what happened to me and I want to forewarn others to perform their due diligence when making purchases online, even if it means you end up missing out on a deal. I say this because more often than not, the deal isn't that great of a deal. Sometimes you get lucky and the seller will refund you if you pay to ship it back and sometimes you don't. After reading all of the threads about how a deal went bad and others saying to ask all questions beforehand, I thought I had everything covered.

Turns out, I was wrong. About two weeks ago on a paintball forum I am on, a member was having a gearbag sale because he found out his wife was pregnant and needed to free up some cash. He posts up his GoPro for sale and everything looked and sounded good. I asked him a few questions and although he only answered half of those questions I was satisfied with paypalling him the money against my better judgement.

Here is where I should have known something was up. I asked him about a charging cable because his picture didn't show it. I'll get back to that picture in a moment. He said it doesn't need one because it uses triple a batteries. This should have been a red flag to me but I figured he just had some kind of battery adapter instead of using the rechargeable one. He ended up finding the cable, so I thought everything was good to go. The picture he took of everything was so small that zooming in was pathetic. Once again, that should have been a red flag but I really wanted an action camera for filming paintball and various other activities.

In hindsight I should have just held off on buying it and picked up something that I really needed like an extra air tank. I just want to put this out there to warn others. Also I needed to vent as I'm so pissed off at myself. If I wanted to risk getting something similar to what I want but at a cheaper price I should have just bought one of the Chinese action cams I was looking at on Ebay. At least then I would of had a better chance at getting my $150 back.

FYI, if someone is interested I'll be putting it up for sale on here shortly.
