There was this kid that went to my highschool and bought a navy blue 01 v6 mustang a4. He thought it was the fastest thing in the world. I thought it was hilarious. No matter what car other people had he was like, I'll beat you. Haven't seen him in a while... I graduated in 2004. On the way to my night class today there's a v6 navy blue mustang infront of me. I could tell it was him because his stock exhaust tip was crooked. I laughed to myself and thought back on how he thought he was the fastest. Appearently he hasn't changed a bit.
We turned onto the main road and he gets in the lane beside me. I'm driving in my gas conservative way of shifting at 2500rpms. Right when I get into second gear I hear him downshift so I just pressed my foot down the loud pedal all the way. A sad story I must say because I was around 1800rpm and pulled away from him like he was sitting still. That poor kid in his stock automatic v6 mustang. Gotta love how the 4.10s pull no matter where you are in the gear :) I didn't even have to get above the speed limit. Some kids just never learn...
