ok i have a chevy malibu 2002
i would like to make some changed to my engine .
this is what i have in mind, i was thinking in buying a 3.8 and put it in my car and i was thinking too in change my 3.1 for a 3.4 so this is the question
What were you guys think it will be better if i just leave my 3.1 and make some change it to it or put a 3.4 and make changed to it or just buy a 3.8 and make some little change it ....
please i need help !!!! am confuse a lot

uhhhhh.. you can't really just take one engine out and stick another one in you know.
it doesn't work like that.

3.8 has more aftermarket backing.

dude you gotta do alot more reading about these engines and such, ppl here are more than willing to help but theres no way an unknowledgeable person is going to be able to swap out engines just by what we tell you to do, its nearly impossible.. you need to read, look at gm tech sites, pictures, etc... they r out there but we are mainly about modifying.. But to answer your question, yes the 3.8L is the most reliable and easiest to mod...
