Hi, doing a 3800 FWD to RWD conversion and need some help with what flywheel to use. Wanting to use a S-10 T5. Which flywheel can I use? Someone was telling me the 98-02 Camero (with 3800 and 5 speed) flywheel will work. Can anyone confirm this? Is there anymore options?
BTW, the 3800 is out of an 1988 Olds if this makes a difference.

After much research the right flywheel appears to be a 96-02 Camaro (3800 w/ T5). Also I believe the S-10 T5 should work fine as it is 26 spline, same as the Camaro. Any objections or comments?

I believe the S10 and camaro use different length input shafts due, to the different slave designs and different length bellhousings. I would use all camaro parts, trans, bellhousing, clutch/ flywheel, clutch hydraulics, etc. Just get it all from the same car and you should be good to go.

Will keep that in mind. I think i'll just look for a camaro at the wrecker and grab (like you said), flywheel, clutch, tranny, etc etc. The whole SHEBANG. Thanks again though.
