Ok this is for a different car, this car happens to be a completely gutted and I mean the only thing inside the car is the steering colum and the pedals, thats it. this car is a 87-93 FOX BODY MUSTANG.
My idea is a GM V6. Either L36 or L67. My only choices.
Reasons:
1. To piss off Ford mustang owners even more.
2. To show that even with the same car OUR MOTORS ARE BY FAR BETTER.
3. Just to be different.
The car had a 4 cylinder engine and drivetrain and from what a ford guru at work said, is that the 4 cylinder chassis is weaker than the V8 or V6 chassis, I am confident that this will work without any major problems. All I need to get is a complete wiring harness with computer and another tranny, my two 4l60es are shot to hell. Might do another sbc tranny swap. The L67 would require a complete topend with other misc stuff.
So what do you guys think, this would actually be easier to do than swapping anything into the 3rd gen Firebird I have. There is a lot of room in the engine bay for a motor.
