Here is a link to my homepage with more pics of the swap, which originally started out as a 96 firebird 3800/auto transplant.

Now that is a good idea. Looks like you had plenty of room for the blower too.

I am in Fort Wayne, North-eastern part of the state. The blower has height clearance but was a lot of fab work on the firewall end of the project! There is less room in a G-body for firewall clearance than an F-body has. I have been wanting to do this swap on a Camaro or Firebird but getting a car has been an issue. I am using a 4L60E that came from the original 96 firebird drivetrain that I had in the car. It is fully built also, a stock trans would be crying pretty bad with this engine lol. I dont know if I am allowed to mention website links on here but I do custom installs as well as full driveline repair specializing in the 3800 cars. There is a link to my website on the bottom of the homepage above with more info on.

thats cool man, ive seen you post on clubcommunistGP alot, but didnt know you had this. Ive been thinking about an L67 S10 set up like this. Nice work. Ever had it to the track?

12.21 was the best it ran so far which is the first time I took it to the track with a mediocre tune. I had some engine trouble from the car running lean and it hasnt ran better than a 12.4 since but I really havent had much time with it this year. I have a T70 that is going on sometime and I will likely build a new engine and run a custom grind cam. I just dont have much time for the car other than to drive it, which I drive year round. I am planning to dip into the 10s with the turbo on the car, and yes the supercharger is staying put! Im not sure if I want to ever put a cage in the car though so it may only go to the track for a run or two before I get kicked out lol. Ohh well we shall see what the next year brings.
