Can't really see a reason for that forum.

You can always make a post in the lounge..but those rant threads don't really go anywhere unless you have a solid argument. :)

If you're a target already, you should probably correct your driving habits quick before you lose your car.

I think you should get a GS, then you can be as reckless as you want. Wait, forget I said that, I'm enjoying my dirt-cheap insurance too much! ;)

Eh just post in the general section. Its always "The cop is stupid" or "Hes just trying to meet his quota" or some other BS like that and frankly I don't like seeing it. Its stupid and ignorant, you get pulled over, you did something to get pulled over.

I agree with Bob, you can post it all day in the lounge but try to have some real ammo to back up your argument. Oh yes, and don't get mad if people rebuke your argument. ;)

You obviously are doing something wrong, so stop doing it.

I'm with these guys. There's no use whining about being pulled over unless you're like my sister and once got pulled over for driving without her headlights on...

...at 3 in the afternoon.

...with DRLs.

i did get pulled over on my moped for reckless driving on a moped my i repeat. now i do think i got pulled over for nothing, and tell me if i am wrong, bc i am not a dick, i want to hear other ppls thoughts on something, it was 10:50 at night, i was in the parking lot to a PUBLIC boat launch i was listening to music in my car, i needed to be home by 11, so i start backing out when all of the suddon i see a spot light in my face, then red and blue lights, so i put her in park and kill my engine to prove that im not going to run or anything (its late and i didnt really kno what to do, thought i would make it easy on them) cop walked over to my car and asked me for my lisense, i gave him my lisense and then handed him my insurance without him asking, he asked my if ive been drinking, i said ,"no, im not into that kind of stuff, sorry" he made my follow his pen with my eyes and walk in a straight line, then he asked me, what were you doing leaving as soon as you saw us? and i said i didnt see yall till your spotlight was in my face, they told me it was "suspitious behavior" tell me if im wrong, but is that just a little over the edge, like they were bored, i live in a small town where the cops probly want action and try to act like big boy cops but w/e please point me in the direction of what they were thinking, was is, young kid in a sports car late at night leaving as soon as we arrived?

I can't say the cops were wrong for conducting Field Sobriety Tests on you, but I wouldn't do it unless I smelled the odor of an alcoholic beverage or saw empty cans. Little thing called probable cause. Of course at that time of night a young buck like yourself out all alone at a boat dock could be considered suspicious. It's a fact of life, you get freedom and if a cop thinks you're doing something odd, they're going to check up on it.

The cop didn't know that you didn't see him when you were about to leave, so if I pulled up and saw someone try to leave when I arrived, I'd probably check things out as well. Here's what I think: Be grateful that the police in your area are being proactive in their enforcement. You'll understand later when you move to an area with a lot of crime. ;)

thats what i thought, it was a little suspetious, btw jw, are you a cop? and i am really not into drinking and drugs of all sorts, i have had the sip or two there (like at a wedding) and never done anything else...

it's common for young people to sit at places like boat ramps and parks and drink or sell and buy drugs (some older people do too, but they usually go to houses)

One of my favorite places to go each lunch or sit and look at the stars is the boat launch at the local community center. Cops have seen me there a lot and haven't done anything about it. Just kinda wave and keep driving through. Maybe you missed a "no loitering" sign or something.

mabye, but if it sounds like im being a dick, someone stop me b/c thats the last thing i want to be, and your probly right about mabye missing a no loitering sign, idk, just seams mabye they were bored to me...

Great idea! Let's break them down depending on the ticket though.
