I did. Removed the calipers and brackets completely off the car, so that I could paint them entirely, and it made it easier to clean them, too.
I used the VHT paint (spray), and I believe it says on it that it will dry to touch in an hour and completely overnight. I saw mentioned somewhere that the hi-temp paint would also dry completely in a 300F oven in an hour or so, and it does ;) If it's just dry to touch, it will be a PITA to remount everything, that's how I did it last time and it pissed me off.

Anyhow, I'm done with my writeup and it will be up soon. :)

There's a kit Discount Auto Parts sells in different colors.
Around $20 IIRC.
Comes with cleaner and all

Took everything off and sanded them down. Then just used VHT like 6 or 7 coats i think and its fine. Its all in the prep work so just make sure its really clean before u spray the first coat

When I did my last break job I sandblasted the calipers and used ceramic paint...but i'm just insane when it comes to details...

I've just sandblasted the fronts this weekend, worked wonders on them. Definitely easier than the wire brush that did the rears. Now I just have to paint them. :)

I used 500* engine paint from autozone. I scrubbed the hell out of them with steel wool, sos pads then finally just brake cleaner and a towel then sprayed them with 6 or more coats of paint followed by 6 or more high temp clear coats. I just taped off the fenders and the rotors and sprayed them on the car. They are a little dirty now, but have been fine for about 2 years.

Yeah, I did mine with the caliper kit and it ended looking like crap... I didn't quite cleaned it enough for the paint to stick on the caliper...

I just used high temp paint... 1200 degree.... Then 500 degree clear. Though a few years later I have some chips missing.

I did it on the car. I just used a coat hanger to hang the caliper, and masked the poo out of the car.

Damn straight! And to think you were making fun of me 'cause I wanted to use a sandblaster. That worked like a charm, FYI.

I used VHT caliper paint. I sprayed 3 coats on them, applied a decal on the fronts, and sprayed a couple coats of clear over them. I let them dry overnight (about 10-11 hours) and they were perfectly dry. :)

5-10 min between coats. You should do everything at the same time.
As for the drying, if you don't take them off, the paint should be dry TO TOUCH within an hour. Any pressure you apply will leave a mark. It will thoroughly dry overnight.

Oz's place. Real easy to do, although you get sand everywhere, it's like rofl'ing at the beach.

Yes, Oz's Sandblasting Sanctuary is now open on the northwest side. Took a little figuring to get a system down. I'm looking forward to doing mine soon having learned by helping Ov do his.
