So me and the wife were out driving last night and i was chirping the tires coming around this corner, well this young turd in a older gt conv came flying up after me when his light turned green i guess to show me the power, well he stopped at a light with me and just sat there staring at me reving his car nonstop. I was like ok, whatever. So we get green and i stomp it, i jump like 2 cars on him on go but he caught up to my door at around 45 and pulled slowly until i shut down at 70 he had a little bit of a nose on me. so we catch another light and he looks over and gos "Couldnt handle that power could you in your crappy SS camaro" I was like "Umm you you just barely beat a v6 camaro conv, i would be whooping and hollarin" Hes like "shit, i see the ss badges and hear the exhaust, you cant put exhaust on a v6 everyone knows that" Im like "Umm, i have rs badges which is nothing but a v6 anyway and exhaust systems are pretty much set up the same on any car" He says "Your dumb, Get a mustang next time" and speeds off not paying attention through the red light and tbones a escalade going through the light. He jumped out and started yelling and shit, me and the wife couldnt stop laughing all night. We just turned and went to sonic like we were going too
BWAHAHA! Are you serious? Arrogant ass.

hahahahahaahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha, yeah most of the drivers here are stupid shits
HAHAHA, thats great. I love reading about L36s beating the older GTs.
I raced a 94-98 coupe stang GT before I had my headers. Needless to say he wasnt happy that his front bumper was at my back door.
I got the "Your lucky you have a supercharger" excuse from him. I laughed and said I wish I had one.

Mustang GT owners just wish they had a Cobra....so they make excuses.
When I had my Cobra, I raced an SS in VA with the plate "12secSS." The only thing that I remember is matching doors with him when he held up a trigger with a little red button on it and he was GONE! I talked to him, and he said the plate was made before he put the SS on the squeeze.....it was the first of only 3 losses I had in the Cobra....the other two were to a Lingenfelter Vette and a BMW M5.

Last year on the way back from island little g was messing with a stang that hes pretty sure was a modded gt and took him pretty well...some guys give cars a bad name...the first few years of the 4.6's even in coupe form barely could run high 14's...verts had to be deep into the 15's hehe
I'm gonna call :bs: on the wreck, but I do very much agree that there are MANY mustang owners in the area who think their cars are the shit and can't be beat.
But don't get me wrong, there are also plenty of LS1 owners who feel the same way and get their ass handed to them by ricers at times.
Most people buy cars faster than their previous one and, knowing they have more power than before, feel their power has no limit and can't be taken from them. They refuse to realize where they stand next to driver's in the same class or age group. It's called human nature. Machiavelli wrote that all men desire power and want nothing but to remain in power. When their power is threatened, they will close up and defend it even though they know they will lose.
There are 2 types of car-enthusiasts. Those who think they can't be beat, and those who know they can be beat. Listen to people who know they can, they have more knowledge and are open to suggestions and you will get the best advice from them.
